To fit our inflatable boat bought a T18S Jarviswalker Watersnake 12v 15amp unit estimate would be used for one hour at a maximum.
JW suggesta deep cycle Marine type battery, my understanding is that once a deep cycle goes below 85% of its volyage its NBG.
Comments appreciated

The way I understand it a battery rated 15 amps would run your motor for one hour. You'd want a deep cycle battery of course, and it's probably best you don't run it flat all the time so say a 30 amp rated deep cycle battery would probably do you.

One hour max??? What happens when you boat has to work against current/the tide carriers you, or you go that little bit too far?? Personally id be going more alonf the lines of 90-100amp, purley for saftey sake, plus you can cruise in the boat for ages! Or if thats too heavy maybe 50-70amps, you be mad going anything less, i think anyway.
