if you're after redclaw make the trip to Callide Dam, mates got 360 overnight last weekend....one pot got 50 in one lift.

I don't think there are redclaw - but quite a few of us would be interested to know how the fishing goes. Can you put a report up after Easter plse??

There are redclaw, as mentioned, but not in plague numbers like Callide and similar dams. Drop a pot or two and have a look see!

I have tried for redclaw on my last 2 trips to Awoonga and managed only a dozen redclaw overnight for 8 pots. Not very successful and probably won't bother again. I believe redclaw can be a bit cyclic so maybe Awoonga's time will come.

cheers

The big rise in Awoonga's water level means a lot of green vegitation was flooded (red claw food) so next summer the numbers should explode.
