Mum will be pleased - plenty of nice food there and a good day out by the looks. The RTE are a fun catch and a welcome table fish.

George! Bloody hell mate, that is a good haul. Im yet to lay my hands on a trout since moving up here, just waiting for that good reef weather.

Is that the usual ratio of trout to RTE in your area?
Up here at Cairns its mostly a reverse of your pic. Just wish there were more of those RTE up here - we only get a good run of them after a cyclone and then they taper off.

Cairns can supply every now and then.. Jacks at 50m on this round..
