View Full Version : Watersnake Transom to Bow-mount conversion

Hey folks,

Picked up this little Watersnake the other day for the tinnie. Decided it would be better as a bow mount rather than a transom mount. It's a surprisingly easy conversion. Here's how.

Take a standard transom mount Waternsake....

Remove these three screws....

Take off top cover then remove the two screws over the little saddle holding the control shaft on....

This is what the saddle looks like removed...

Remove the control shaft and electronics being careful not to pull the wires....

This gives you access to the bolt that holds the leg on....

Simply remove this bolt, twist the leg 180 degrees and re'assemble. Yay, conversion complete!!
