G'day
With the closure's on at the moment i decided not to go fishing until after they where over but as time went on it got the better of me so i decided that today was the day to go out and fish some shallower ground and target parrot, moses perch and what ever else come along.
So steve arrived at 2.00am this morning and off we went and we where fishing before the sun come up with very little happening until it rose and then first fish snapper and i thought oh no this isn't what we are after, but thankfully that was the only one. Soon the parrot had woken up and by days end we had our bag of them with the best one right on 3 kg.
We also got two spotty's and one spanish, with a great mixed bag of parrot, mackerall, grassy sweetlip, redthroat, green job fish, hussar, red tomato cod, moses perch, and i think that was about it, was a great day and we doged the rain for most of the day until we got home and had to clean up whilst it was pouring but all good.
cheers pete...
