does anybody have any idear on what kind of lures that are good for
the murry cod. and if they know if there is any simularity's in barra fishing and bass lures, ass we know they are the three species that seem to take the hard bodies;D ;D ;D

Apart from spinnerbaits, anything that dives deep and is purple are my favourites, Killerlure, Handcrafted, Stumpjumper and the older style Flatfish are good too even though they dont dive too deep and are a pain to cast because of the multple trebles getting tangled, but good too troll........ I picked up a very heavy duty Spinnerbait some months ago and these are being made up for Murray Cod fishing. Obviously an overkill for Bass.

The wire and hooks were all increased in size. Can't remember the brand but ask around.
