Dodgy Dave's Fishin' Trips

Nic and I took 3 of my work mates out for a day trip today. Run out was a bit bumpy but got better the further we went, and the day turned out to be great weather wise. Fishing was a bit slow, but the nannygai that were caught were all crackers, with Frank taking the honours with a big 12kg fish. Baits were flesh and squid.

Nice work mate, Looks like you werent too far out going by the catch of Grunter and Fingermark. They are crackers of nannys- have heard of quite a few getting around that size lately. Be nice to get weather good enough to get amongst em while they are about.

yer we got onto a couple that size the other week off cairns. Either stonkers or just legal, none mid range.... interesting.
I think i lost a couple of the rod, the deck winches done the damage tho.

I guess it is physically impossible to hold fish like this with arms stretched out just to make them look bigger in the photo. When there is no need to do that, that is awesome fishing!;)
