Left Mooloolaba ramp 5 am yesterday, as did everyone else - apparently !

Trolled till lunch time. Found this fella at Chardons reef.
It fell to a king brown halco 7 metre, and was hooked by the photographer and fellow ausfisher Tim Hutchison.

It went 135cm and 11.5 kg.

no other fish sighted ,no birds where we were.

Cheers
Brendan

The water out from noosa was cobalt blue.
A bit greener futher south but looked pretty good.

Tim's lure had no wire leader . That was the theory he was running with for the day and if the lure was lost , so be it.
I supplied the location and the gaff ( and not a great shot at that)

Thanks for the trip and my first woo Had a good day and I think the gaff shot was good it was in the fish. And the lure was a 2m diver

We were on Currimundi where the water was pretty clean with maybe a tinge of green, but the surface was busting up everywhere. Plenty of birds & large fish.
