View Full Version : Servicing Evinrude ETEC's

I have been having my Etec serviced by Logan River Marine since the boat was new. They have now closed down so looking for any suggestions on some one to go to. I do a lot of hours so gets services fairly regularly. I live in the redlands so some one near by would be good. I have heard some real variance in service charges so just after some recomendations.

Try Downes Marine at Bowen Hills, at little bit of a travel but he is fantastic.

For you location Downs Marine is the best choice. If gold coast is easier, then Jimmy at paradise point is the best option...


If your warranty is over, the Ian at ski and race marine is also very highly recomended. Only problem with Ian is he is not a BRP certified mechanic.. None the less, he know his evinrudes...

These two fellas are the only 3 I would let touch my etec...

Mate of mine has been using Downes Marine for many years & speakes very highly of them.
He currently has a 225 E Tec.

Downesy is the only guy to see in SEQ for OMC/Bombardier stuff!
