Anyone here dose repairs to trailers or knows a good contact to do some repairs on my trailer. I have some bad rust in the back of the trailer and would like to get it removed.
Thanks

I just dropped my trailer in at Arrow Caravans at Virgina for saftey cert and some repairs. Should be able to give you a first hand report this coming weekend!

A lot of people here suggest PBL Trailers at Brendale, but I called them and they told me they dont repair boat trailers.

probably best to get the boat off the trailer, then have a real good look and a few taps with a hammer around the rusty parts, it will be 50 times worse than you can see, trust me! from there you can decide how to go about it, remember the boat will have to come off anyway.

hey meg a bite, i've been getting trailer parts as i need them from hans at pro-bar in the industrial estate at caboolture. he knows his stuff and his prices are ok, but on his website he says he can recommend a number of guys who specialise in trailer repairs. it might be worth a phone call. did you suss out the riser types yet?
