I have about a 2000 model 15hp Mercury. I have been told servicing these little motors yourself is quite easy. Thoughts????
Anywhere I can download a free manual for it? (it's a 2 stroke btw)

I have a CD manual that i bought off ebay, about $10 posted,
they cover most years and all sizes on one cd
i would make you a free copy if you can wait till the end of February.... im in Germany at the moment

I just downloaded it & took a look, it was printed in 98 so you should be good to go.

can use Winrar or winzip to open and save it to a dir on your HDD one you can remimber.

mate ,ring garry at gd marine services , he, ll do the first one and show what to do.
but me i still ring hey, great bloke his work is top notch and he looks after us ausfishes

I agree with Sid, if I was nearby Gary would be doing all my motors. But because he isn't I got a manual from read manuals .com....Merc parts from Marinetech in the US and you can get a parts diagram from boats.net..I don't think they send Merc parts OS now.
