Need someone to service and fit an Etec.

Hi all,

I have picked up a second hand 150 etec and need to get a bit of a check over, a service and get it fitted up to my boat. I have looked through the internet and found River City Marine, Wynnum marine, Downes Marine at Bowen Hils and Aust marine centre at Slacks Creek are all etec dealers, I think I would prefer to go to someone who knows them because I certainly don't. Can anyone recommend any of these guys or suggest someone else? Northside of Bris preferably, I am located at Bracken Ridge.

go the wynnum option plenty of experience there, they have the tools and diagnostics needed for the etc plus experience with Cruise Craft and bigger boats

Downes have been helpful with my older Johno. Never heard anything bad about them and they are your side of town.

Yeah Matt - I can second that. I live at Wooloowin and we take my 3yo ETEC 90 down to Downes for service (Bowen Hills).

Alan's a really nice bloke and knows the ETEC's inside out.

Can recommend.
