With assistance from the Queensland Police Service, Maritime Safety Queensland will be helping people to identify lost vessels and pontoons.
A number of pontoons and vessels of various types and sizes were washed down the Brisbane River during the flood. Many of the pontoons have no identifying marks on them and some have been severely damaged and will no longer be serviceable.
Owners of lost vessels and pontoons can submit identifying details to Maritime Safety Queensland. Complete the lost property identification form and submit it by email (msqmail@msq.qld.gov.au?subject=Lost property identification form submission) or fax: +61 7 3860 3540.
