Hi, I am looking for a Hydrofield to buy. 5.6 or a 6.1. Have done the Boatpoint search. If you have a Hydro and would like to sell give me a pm.

Thanks.

Hey Mate,

I used to own this boat, and sold it to I think the current owner in 2003/04. I put the motor on new.

http://www.boatpoint.com.au/boats-for-sale/boatdetails.aspx?R=9409930

He bought it for about 28k from me. It's extremely good value where it is at now.

The boat was built to survey in 94. It is built very well.

It was at Yatala, but the ad now seems to have disappeared.

There is a story which I wrote on the boat at the www.seamedia.com.au (http://www.seamedia.com.au) website about the full rebuild I did of the boat in 03.

Darren

I went past a yellow hulled Jaguar in a front yard yesterday with a for sale sign. On the main road at Farnborough, Yeppoon. One of the local blokes on here could drive past and get the phone number for you.

Cheers

I may be wrong CT, but I think the one on the corner of Todd Ave/Farnborough Rd is this one:

There has been another in Rocky for sale late last year called "On Site", it had been located at the Tackle Shop on Lakes Creek Road as well as the caryard where you put your own vehicles in on Gladstone Road (CQ Car Mart??? - I may be wrong) but the floods have interrupted things. Someone else may know more about this one.
I never stopped for a look, but at a glance it looked clean and tidy, 2 stroke Merc on the back I believe.

Do you have any other criteria, ie price limit or motor preference etc?

Scott.

Thanks Scott,
Looking for a 5.6 or a 6.1. Older models 1988 to 1992 which may need repowering, roughly round the 20,000 mark. Or newer if under the 35,000 mark.

Cheers

Hey Zakster. There is one here in Townsville that has been for sale for a while by a local glassing company. I think it is 6.1m plus has an additional pod. It looks like a total rebuild (this guys is a good glasser) and is ready for complete fit out. Has 18k on it with trailer but it has been there a while and you might be able to bargain down a bit. Let me know if you want a contact number and I'll see if i can chase one up.

Cheers

Many thanks to the Ausfishers for their help in tracking down a Hydro.
Ended up with a 5.6. 1988 model. Very happy with it.

Cheers.

Matty, That 6.6 in port macquarie went for 65,000. without a trailer. 300 Suzi with top shelf accessories. One of the best 6.6's ive ever seen.
