hey guys i was just looking at youtube videos with cod and surface lures and omg its AMAZING i was just wondering does anyone do it and what lures to use? im planning on doing it when i go down to dubbo on friday and also has the water levels gone down and are the fish biting this includes burrendong dam aswell

Make my own and they work a treat.
One of my best surface lures was made out of a broom handle.

Yeah mate,
Like mickey mouse ears that sit a bit high up front as the weight of the bib pulls the front down at rest but rides up when pulled along.
Just have to tune em to make a loud "plock plock" noise.
I reckon its noisier than the store bought models.
I made this bunch up in a few hours using Maranti and some thin aluminium sheet, a bit of stainless wire, rings and trebles.
Had some cricket score catches on them so I reckon they are ok.
