Hi there,

My Dad is the market manager of the bay community markets.

He's asked me to gauge interest in the possibility of him organizing a fishing and boating related swap meet/car boot sale sometime in the near future.

Replies welcome, poll votes encouraged. :)

Cheers,

Matt.

EDIT: For some reason lucky phil edited out the website URL and address.. This makes little sense as the location at which this would be held needs to be known so people can vote accordingly..

( I edited it because you are advertising a business and as such should be paying for the privilege. If people want to know where it is they can pm you. Unless, of course you wish to pay for the advert ? Please read the conditions of use of Ausfish in regard to what I have said. regards....Ausfish Admin.. Phill )

If you wanted to know the reason why then contact me.

If you want to Editorialise then try starting a post. I thought this was about an opinion poll.

Anyway..... puting all the politics aside, do we all think its a good idea?

if it go's well i might try and get the gold coast chapter of Ausfish organised and have one down here....of cause it would be run as a non profit gig.
or maybe a nominial fee that may go towards buying stock for the RBD.

cheers

I spoke to Dad about this a bit more today.. He's chosen a tentative date of February 5.. We also spoke about doing it as not for profit with all proceeds going to a yet to be decided charity or organisation.. The local VMR was discussed as a possibility. 'Stall' hire fees would be relatively small, $10 or less.

Thoughts and/or suggestions appreciated :)

*Nothing is concrete at this stage, but the above is looking quite likely.

Date is good for me, I will have a stall. $10 sounds very fair, I would pay it and local VMR is a good organization to support.

Date sounds good as long as you can get the word out in time. fees are resonable and the VMR sounds good. look forward to seeing how it goes.
