Fishing Brisbane River mouth with all this water release

Ok.

I'm about to go on holidays this week and they have started this water release thingy into the brisbane river. Would all this water effect the fishing at the mouth.

I'm looking at chasing a few more threadies and jews in gentlemens hours.

It's seems to be a waste to release all this water when they charge you more then $2 for a 1000L's.

Anyway, i have purchased some of danners thready buster lures and am hopping to try them out. ( i'm a bait person so i get pretty bored quick).

the fresh hasn`t caused the fishing too much grief. just at times like the start of the run in tide there is still a bit of fresh on top running out the other way and can give you the shiats trying to land lures on your mark. clarity is still really good. hope this helps . Andrew
