Ok, so here's the story so far. I have a little aluminium bass weapon. It has a 55lb electric motor either end which have sacrificial prop nuts.
My big motor has anodes but it is usually off the boat sitting in the corner, as this boat is used on an electric only dam.
The boat is a 2001 model with a bit of bubbling around the fittings but duralac has been used a lot ! It used to be a bream weapon so it's seen a lot of salt.
It has two 120amp batteries which have anderson plugs so the current isn't travelling around the boat when not in use....I hope !
I've noticed a tiny little pit on the side near the water line and I've decided that putting an anode on the transom near the waterline might be beneficial.
I've got some anodes, I've got a tube of Sikaflex-291.
Walk me through this so I don't stuff it up !
What type of bolt and nut should I use to fix it through the hull ?
Is this the right place to put the anode ?
Should you add milk when making an omelette ?

Water not milk for the omelette !!. Don't know about the anode.

Personally I would get a small bracket welded onto the transom area below the water line so as you can affix an anode to rather than drilling holes in the hull. Use a stainless bolt to fix the anode onto the bracket.

I don't know you can fit the anode. Having aluminium studs welded to the boat might be better. Then secure the anode with NYLON nuts - not NYLOC. The placement for the anode or anodes should be 30% of the waterline distance from the stern i.e., measure FROM the stern and at 30% of the total water-line length place the anodes.

That's the normal thing to do with a mono-hull displacement boat but having two electric motors puts a different spin on the equation.

Thanks for the feedback fellas, I'm glad I asked before drilling holes in my hull.
Some good ideas which I will take on board.
I should be able to get the engineering boys at work to weld this up for me.

And thanks wamjam...water, not milk !
