Hand Rails in a Tinny

Just wondering if anyone has used the Tube Bases from Bias Boating or Whitworths to make Hand Rails on there Tinny? I have included the Photos of the Parts im talking about.

It looks pretty easy to do but how strong will they be? any comments would be great

Also any other ideas on hand rails would be good as i am wanting to get some on my tinny that go down the whole length of the boat

get them welded on properly, made to suit both height and boat contour, you will find not a lot of cost difference, look better and more structural/ stronger
