I am looking for someone to get my boat from brisbane area to sydney . I have rang around through google searching and have been surprised how much I have been quoted , way more expensive than what I thought ( over a grand ) .Does anyone know a company that they might of used in the past or heard of that might be able to help me ?

Cheers .

I have a boat on truck at the moment, adelaide to brisbane. Costing me $2000. Not sure you would get any change from $1000 to sydney but you could try this guy. His name is John from JK Transport, phone. 0408 799 759. I got his number from a guy called robert honey of Marine Transport, might also be worth giving them a call on 0416 214 646

Kearnsy,
I have transported a couple of boats, one 36ft steber from foster to brisbane cost was around $1800, and one 5.8m southwind from Port Hinchinbrook to Brisbane.($800approx from NQ Boat Haulage). Try NQ boat haulage as they were the cheapest and seemed like good operators. They did several runs from Cairns down the East Coast of Oz. Depending on how much you want to be involved will dictate how much it will cost you. Good luck.
