I haven't fished from the shore for some time.
Been making use of my boating permit with my last 2 outings have been donuts.:'(
Planing to head out this weekend.:D

With the weather warming up, early morning/late afternoon sessions may be worth trying. I'd be trying surface lures for bass.

Might be time for a few weekday early morning sessions before heading to work;D

Been doing ok on bait from boat. 8 yesterday all over 40cm. Get yourself a permit beswt $100 you will ever spend. You are lucky you live so close its a 170 km round trip for me.

Hi Everyone,
Sounds funny, but I have lived about 15 minutes from NPD for 15 years and never been there. Can anyone give me a heads up on it . For example fish stocked, boating restrictions etc.
Thanking You,
Shawn

Have a look at the PRFMA website for boating access and some good fishing info.

What is the go with boating on Lake Kurwongbah ? I was told that there were a restricted number of permits issued , is this correct ? Also about 10 years ago the public had access to the dam via a road off Scout Road, however the last time I was up ther there the road was closed.Any information would be welcome.

G'day Rayken,

Have you been out getting any bass since the last time we spoke about it?

Fish must be all below the wall.
Reckon it will go over again if we get any more rain as water level right up.
Went this morning nothing on bait or troll.
Ended up catching a gar at the ramp just to say that i caught something.;D

G'day Ray,

Yeah, could be hey, lot of water went out. She might repeat itself as Wivenhoe Dam is talking about releasing water again soon as the water raises abit.

Gar hey, oh well, they are hardy.

Cheers, Peter
