Just on two years ago we all started changing over to the new 406MHz epirb. So as a reminder, you may want to check your registration with AMSA is still current and if it's getting close to expire consider getting the renewal done.

Any label without a current date will be deamed to be non-complying and we all know what that means $$$$$$ = govt revenue

I only found this out a couple of months ago myself.. always knew I had heaps of time left on the battery expiry date but when I sold my small boat I noticed that the sticker did not match with the registration expiry... by 4 years!!!!!!

I am sure that it is a money grabbing exercise so I agree to get it done before "you" get done!
