hi i was at sunshine beach today on a job admiring the beutifull calm waters, wishing i wasnt at work, and sore a fleet of about 10 game fish boats cruisin north at aprox 0900, just wondering if there was a comp on today or what was going on??

they're only game boats if they have outriggers and aren't Rivs or Maritimos! ;-) From what I have seen lately, baby boomers is a great summation from Dantran!

Friday arvo I saw 13, i think it was from memory, boats heading out through the North East Channel in close "line astern" formation.

We were too high at the time to be able to tell what sort of boats they were, but they were all planing and making pretty good speed. Were you out Fridee arvo Smithy?

Yeah I probably could have worded that a little better:o

I flew up to Townsville on Fridee arvo, and out of Brissy you end up going out just west of the Banks.

No Myles just did a half dayer I think.

From what I saw they were mostly Rivs, no riggers and BBQs out the back. A sure sign they were cruisers.
