Gladstone/South End

Well the time has finally arrived - taking the hornet up to South End...will leave for the 12hr trek tomorrow. Arrive Gladstone Fri arvo in time to get some grog/groceries/ice and barge over to South End on Fri arvo.

To all who have kindly helped me with all my questions over the past few months - big thank you!

We will be there for a week and if anyone local would like to call in for a beer, or heading out for a fish and wouldnt mind a tag-along bushie - please give me a call on 0429 080 373.

Augh day 1 done- just spent the day around rat & out the front of South End - getting our bearings & having a look about. Not many fish about!

Have to try and find somewhere local to get some fresh bait - will go to happy hour tonight & try my luck lol.

Not so flash forecast tomorrow - so we thought we would hang around outside facing island & try some reef patches there. Monday we hope the weather looks good enough for us to venture out to rock cod shoals (only in 4.4m boat)
