Blue cover on new boats being built

Can anyone tellme what the sfuff is that they stick on new boats while they are being built this is the tape or stuff that looks like contact they stick it on to stop the oat being scratched I think im doing some modes and want to use it while I carry out the work.

The stuff you are looking for is called spotstick there are a couple of places you can get it from we have bought it from a place called signet i'm pretty sure that they are down at wakerley the other place is around brendale & I can let you know tomorrow .and just to make mention that it does come in different um thickness so you get what you pay for.one problem that you will probably come accross is that you will more than likely have to buy a 1200 m/m wide roll by about 300 metres long & that will set you back around the $300-$400 mark.see how you go.
