I have not had the tinny out since Easter as all of my time has been spent extending the house. Decided to check her out ready for the grandies for school holidays. Bimini was a bad shade of grey , dreaded mould ,even when parked in the shed.

Easy off Bam says the minister for war and finances. Tried it ,with a grain of salt and believe me, it came off as quick as. Nice like new Bimini, little effort massive result.

Tried it on padded seats, top results. Life jackets, same.

So, if you have a similar problem, try it.

Cleaning products really shouldn't be used on life jackets...

That may be true, but if they have signs of mould thay are not fit for use.

Anybody got an MSDS for BAM????;D

cheers

1/4 teaspoon of oil of cloves in 1 litre of water, mist it on, then leave it for a day or so. Works wonders...and no worries about chemicals affecting anything.
