How long will a Yamaha go for?

Gidday Everyone, I am looking at trading my boat on another, but the 115 4 stroke Yamaha on it has 2000hrs on it. I think it is to many hours for me but does anyone know about how long these motors will go for. It is on the back of a 525 Ally Caft Plate. Thanks, Sean.

i remember fishingonboard a Marlin Broadbill that had a pair of F115 Yammie's that were showing 3800hrs and still going strong, however most of their time is spent at low revs towing livies around. really it still comes down to how its been treated and it current condition
