Welcome to Ausfish!
Give us an idea of your budget, Brad, and do you prefer glass, aluminium or plastic! Are you looking to buy new, or 2nd hand.
Cheers.

Yeah thanks for the quick replies , I am looking for a second hand unit that has been used for fishing primarily so is set up with livie tanks , etc . The budget is around 20 to 25 grand and preferred build is glass as it will generally give a better ride in sloppy conditions . Most guys in the fishing club have seadevils and they love them but i am not sure about the gunwhale height .Any feedback is greatly appreciated , this will be my priced possesion and get heaps of use .

Hi Brad, better jump on boatpoint.com or boatsales or boatsonline. If you fish offshore you maybe better with the newer motors and I'm not sure 20-25 will get what you are after.

Sorry Chimo. didnt want to hijack Brads thread.
I'm on the Vic SA border. fish both sides. Portland Vic to Kingston SA

Hay Brad, there was a Viking on boatpoint for about 20 with a yammy. think it maybe gone though.

Yeah have been keeping my eye on boatpoint for a while now , I will be spending around 30K for a decent unit , seems that there are a few in Victoria that have been for sale for a while so I might be doing a road trip . I am no real hurry and want to invest wisely . Boatboy 50 I will contact you too .

Cheers

Keep an eye on the other boat sale sites as well. boatsonline, trading post, boatpoint, boatsales, boatstobuy.
they often double up but sometimes they don't.

cheers, Stu

I know a Yalta 555 just like mine that is coming on sale soon... '09 model, 115 Yammy 4s with around 30 hours. Selling "as new" so do the maths, new is mid 40's without the accessories this boat has.

Might be just outa reach for you?

Hey Kearnsy, this one may be out of the budget that you have mentioned but have a look at the add. Great boat as SCALEM can testify as he has the same.
