I thought I would share this with you. I just had my Yamaha 60 EFI 100 hour service completed. Total coast was $328.50. This included impeller, fuel and oil filters, oil and labour. I thought that this was quite reasonale compared to some of the service charges that other members have paid. I guess that it is one of the benefits of living in a rural area. Cheers Winston.

that's pretty good for what we get up here. the local dealer wants 320, and that's WITHOUT the water pump service.

They're not difficult to do yourself, so that's what I do, the only thing i can't do is plug the laptop in to look for any error codes, but I can get a mobile bloke to do that for 30 bucks

I think that's a great deal. I recently had my 40hp Yamaha 2 stroke injected serviced for $432.00!!

Yes, mine included fuel filter, impeller, plug etc. But for a 40hp I thought it was over the top.

For you brisbane and gold coast lads get spaniard king to do it. He comes to you and his prices are good. I challenge you to find someone here who has not been happy with his work. You wont just get a good service, but you will get heaps of good advice too.

His contact details are in the ausfish directory here: http://www.ausfish.com.au/directories/index.php?id=676

That sounds about right. I have the carby 60HP Yammy 4 stroke and have found that servicing is no different than a 2 stroke. I go to Yatala Yamaha and they are spot on.

to be fair i dont believe they would have replaced your gearbox/diff oil, water pump, fuel pump diagphrams, thermostat gasket, and the car wouldnt have a poppet diapraghm to replace either.

alot of people dont realise whats involved in servicing an outboard properly.
