American Minn Kota

guys,

i was thinking of getting a bow mount Minn Kota Riptide SP from the states, i have a friend shooting over for work that could bring it back for me and thought it might be a cheaper option. Does anyone know if there are issues in attaching one to our batteries? sorry if this is a stupid question...:-?

Just be careful of those American ones.
They're left hand drive you know.

Other then that they'll work just fine on our 12V batteries.

What about warantee??

I'd still be buying one over here ... if there's one thing you can be sure of when buying a Minn Kota is a trip to BLA ... maybe they need a small waiting room with some coffee facilities. Still the best of the lot and BLA's service is pretty hard to beat. I'm waiting delivery of a Saltwater Terrova with built in iPilot ... I'm sure it will go back at some point but I know it will get sorted within a few days.
