Gday Gents,

I am looking at purchasing a Haines Signature 1850 6.2m.

I am just looking at some rough ideas on how they handle the rough, weight, speed approx (200hp) and so forth?

If anyone could pass there opinions on this boat it would be much appreciated!

Cheers.

P.S. Main Purpose of purchase is Moreton Bay fishing and Bar crossings around SE QLD. Looking for something that can handle quite a bit of rough stuff!

Thanks again.

Boats ok, I guess. I think Michael at Coorparoo Marine might have one. Don't know for sure but he's pretty happy with it. If that one had those funny chines, it may ride harder. Trailerboat Fisherman magazine had a test on a 600F with those funny chines and reckoned that it was harder riding than a Haines Hunter 580SF. But then they call Cruisecraft boats "Bruisecraft ". But I think they are a fair boat.

Hi Mustang5 , I had a 1850 signature and wish i still had it at times , loved the boat , 175 johnson 2/stroke enough power so 200hp would be more than you need and fine , ride was excellent and overall roomy great boat, don`t recall the weight but i towed it with a 6cyl petrol patrol ute easily , cheers Mick
