Statewide Marine Barrery - R&J Batteries

Had to spring for a new battery. One of the old Exide Extremes I had died. They are a bit hit and miss. Sometimes 3-5 years othertimes 2-3. I decided to go calcium. I have gone to calcium in my land rovers. I went to R&J Batteries on the Eastern Service Road at Staplyton just up from Logan Marine. They were very helpful. I got a Statewide M27 calcium. Big sweet looking thing with a green top....they tell me that they are the biggest selling battery in the US and they have had them here for a year and they do very well. I also got a calcium Delkor for my ride on cause the chinese lead acid cheapies are only lasting a year or less with proper care too.

I recommend R&J - good range and good prices and helpful.

I will report back, hopefully in 3 years time, that the greentop is still going strong..

I drove up from the goldy to get another delcor as the last one lasted 7 years in my boat. good discount so i got one for the ute too.
