service cost for a 4hp outboard

Just wondering how much it will cost to service a 4hp motor. 4 hp mercury 2004

Since i got quoted $500 for my yammy 115 for a 100hr service.

I got my 8hp serviced by spinnaker marine last year for $150 and they are a merc dealer, so my warranty was still covered.

Yes finga, i had the same idea. $150 is a very steep.

Now would i pay half the price of a motor for a simply service.::) .
