g,day all i just bought a little project it has a 94 johno moter 70 hp however it had not been started for some 6 or 7 yrs but looked like it had been looked after we got some clean fuel a new battery new plugs and leads sprayed a little lube in the plug holesnow was the test full choke the bloody ripper fired instantly,off with the choke a little throttle and she fired up settled down quickly and purred like a good thing i was not expecting that maybe there's a good chance i dont have to replace the old girl it has only done 450 hrs i am a happy man

quick compression test and a service should see a few more hundred hours out of it. I have a 93 evinrude 60hp 2strk on mine and it runs like a dream, as much as i would love a new engine im quite found of the primitive sound of the 2 strk and the near bullet proof design of them.

Yeah, I should have just said I'd give you $100 for it sight unseen.
So any pictures of the boat yet or have I missed them??

no mate it is still getting barnacles removed.i havn't got it home yet i'm leaving for a weeks fishing next mond so i dont want it at home in the way but ill pick it up when i get back and take some pics and post them.
