Been looking at Googarra's Haines 700L Boat on here. Its beaut. Can anyone confirm if the 2250 L is exactly the same hull or not?Is it just a previous model of the same hull?

Cheers
John

I think the only difference is the top deck. I think under the waterline is exactly the same. Pretty sure it was like this with all of the haines brands until new molds were made. But don't quote me on this, just from various discussions with people.

It should be exacly the same boat, 2250 is older unless the 700L is a rebadged 2250.

I had one of the first 2250's 1985 built with a 200 Merc on the back and she went like a bullet , stable at rest but not a good sea boat , very low now and waves come over very easy. The other problem the have 20" pod so your outboard is very low , some later models were fitted wit 25" leg motors sitting a little higher.

I think they started badging them 700L around 1989-1990.
