Goldy spanish and spots.

Did not have my scales with me today and we clean it at the ramp. how big kg? I was thinking 20~22 kg.
We got the Spanish on a pink skirt travelling at 14 knots. The Spots on 40g slugs, could not wind the slugs fast enough. all of the fish where in close, 12 fathoms.

fish looks about 120 long if so id give you 12-13kg, woulda been a good take adding on 14 knots

Nice spaniard - was a little further south and could not get away from the striped tuna....schools bustin up everywhere...bit of fun on the light gear.

got a couple a few weeks ago one was just under 14kg and this one was bigger. maybe my scales are out .

that is a really big head on that fish so it is bigger than it looks :)

got another spanish today but still can't crack the 10kg mark

Thats a nice fish and would have had the drag screaming after hitting at 14knts.
The photo angle makes it hard to estimate size but I looks under 20kgs to me but it could be longer than what it looks.

mate i got a 117cm the other day and it went juz above 8kg so 20kg might be a bit out but none the less great spanny
