HI Guys can anyone recomend a fiberglass repairer on the sunshine coast who will do fairly big jobs,( want to redo whole hull an deck),cant seem to find anyone so any help would be greatly appreciated cheers

My boat has just gone in with Harold at Elva Craft... I'll let you know how I go, but he seems to have a solid reputation and definitely seems like a genuine bloke.

Don't take your boat to port o call.

Hi Dan,
I have just got my boat back from Marine Works at Scarborough. They rebuilt the transom. The price was good and they also put in a lot of attention to detail. Some of the original design faults (that would let water in) have been sorted out really well. The main man there is Nick Sprenger 0413 447 450.

Try Adam Ashby at Lauries Marina, 12 Orana St, Buddina 07 5444 8625 or 0402 150 502. He does really good work and a re-deck would be not a problem for him.

Adam was one of two (along with Harold from Alva craft) that were recommended by John, one of club marine's assessors.

Adam would have had my business but he failed to supply the quote he promised and be buggered if I was able to get him on the phone.... Bad luck/timing I'd imagine. I won't hold it against him...

just had a guy on the coast do my floor and stringers in the savage. If ur interested i can arrange some photos and his number for you
