anyone got a tip on taking a dog out on an overnighter or a long weekend, some funny stories about i bet. wife and kids away on hols and i was thinking about getting out for a few days next week after work . thinking of putting a drip tray with a bit of sand for him , will take a run up to yellow patch if it isnt blowing.

Mate I have a full grown Bull Mastiff so unless I buy a barge he wont be comming out with me any time soon.

But as you have said i bet there are some great stories out there.

best advice is find a mate with wife and kids no pets i bet the kids would love to baby sit your dog while you take there dad fishing

i agree with Pink Panther on the pissin on the floor comment...wash it away. If he/she lays a cable...plastic bag wrapped over your hand then wrap it up...stow it in a smaller esky (polystyrene one?) the throw it and the esky for that matter once back on land???

yes mate i was joking just to make a smile on a couple of mates faces i do have 2 very well trained Australian cattle dogs though.
