Fish ID

my mate has moved to the teritory and has started catching some fish, not sure what they are can anyone ID them for me.

Yeah mate a little sooty or a black bream either name ......same fish.......most of the freshwater causways are full of them ATM aswell as tarpon and little barra.

I call those fella's Black Bream, but yep like most fish they have a couple of names used to catch them in the Burdekin around Charters Towers....... They go pretty hard too on light gear, heaps of fun. Best dead bait i found was Ox Heart, also they are fun on dusk with poppers... It's a big call but i reckon pound for pound they go harder then Barra.
