Gneering Macks

Spent saturday morning trolling dead baits of bonito, slimies and gar out of Mooloolaba with two mates.

Lots of Tuna on the surface and lots of boats including the local pro's. Totalled 12 strikes for 7 spanish 7 to 14 kg and on the way in before 10 am as we had enough.

DPI Rep at the ramp measured all the fish and took the frames for the Mackerel and reef fish research programme which was great as it saved us the trouble.

nice haul of macs there boys made for a great day out. is that mt coolum in the back drop or the 4th photo looks to be alittle further than the gneerings.

Hi Jason,

Bump in the background is Noosa, it's no secret the Mack's have been on the Gneerings, 5 mile and 12 mile, before the rain one of the local pro's had over 30 spanish for the day.
