There apparently is data on some of the local states police intranet but you have to be in the force, so I believe, to see it.
There are a lot of eyes not able to report sightings if they dont know what they are looking at.
A local public accessable web site like the NZP have would seem a useful addition to make marine item theft harder to undertake and much harder to get away with IMHO::) .
