help lowrance 3300c globalmap

picked up a boat with one of these in it. asking if anyone has had one?
new to the gps world and haven't got a glue how to use it and doesnt
have a manual with it.
all i'm wanting to do with it is punch in GPS points and hopefully it takes
me there in a matter of speaking.
not sure if this is the right GPS for me or not.
have a heap or GPS points from a mate and wanting to sus it out.
it has a card in it not sure what it is but it has bribane on the back.
the old owner never used it.
any help would be grate

What suburb do you live in; I have a Lowrance 2400 so may be able to offer some (limited) advice.
