shimano stradic c14 1000

Has anyone got any good or bad tales of the shimano c14 1000 reel for brim whiting the like

Mate, the stradic ci4 is a beautiful reel, but it is a more a specialist reel (i.e. will balance nicely on a super-light high modulus graphite blank, but not so well on an ugly stick) and not really an all-rounder kind of reel...

Unless you're targetting whitings on poppers, I'd say save your hard hearned and get a less expensive reel.;)

btw, I considered getting a stradic ci4 for breaming but in the end decided to get a TD 1500 and couldn't be happier.
