the first trip for many people in NQ as the storms and winds finally decide to have a spell its great when you hit the schooling jackpot and leave plenty behind in fact we all dropped in morning and instantly all hooked up. jewies were really on the chew.

great catrch graham, I was out there on Friday/Saturday and we hardly got a look in, only ended up with 6 trout, and a jobfish. The going was very tough, we fishedd broadhurst, Banfeild, Mid and Prawn. We were planning to stay out there Saturday night as well, but the fish just weren't biting so we headed in. Thought we got onto a nice patch of reds on the inside of broadhurst, we had a triple hook up going with the telltale big red nods, but all three of us pulled up a dirty big chinaman each.

Had a go with a popper over the top of Broadhurst and got nailed by a big trout, but somehow he missed the hooks. Spun up a few mac tuna for bait, but even the sharks weren't interested in big bloody red cut baits. looks like we missed to boat by a day or 2.

Next to NO run on saturday, some spots were were fishing in 50m plus and we were using 6oz leads and still fishing straight up and down. Awesome weather though
