Fished off Blowin (Bowen) today after many hints over the last few months towards my Civil contractors ;D the window was there and an invite was snapped up !

Fished some 2-3 klms East off Holbourne Island in 50m for Nanagie early on. First few drops landed 3 nany's and a heap of treavelly that were sent back. Things went quiet after an hour but persisted in the area for a heap more Trevors, haussar, undersized Reds and stripies.

Headed south around midday to an untried mark, 1 nany and 2 Javelin fish (Grunter and a big mouth nanie) 7 keepers in the esky and a slow days fishing but great to have an explore up North !

The humble hand line with whipper snipper type line did the job fishing squid today !

Great company and a great day on the water ! The full length canopy is the way to go up in NQ !

Damo.

A piccie of the catch.
