you can do it via the data card... DO NOT USE THE MAP CARD......get a second card for data...

you can download the software from hummingbird (did it for a friend)
you have to register your sounder on line there before getting the download...

its a great little program, way better than my eagle/lowrance one...
lets you make maps and all.... transfer info to and from google earth....and all the gear...

Greg, you have to buy the data & power cord pack, as the 777 doesn't have a card slot. when you buy the cords register your unit with humminbird & get the latest software update, it made a huge performance difference to my 777c2
You should be able to add waypoints, but i'm not sure as i use mine purely as a sounder.

ok.... dosent look like you have maps on it.... just a trail line with waypoints....
