Water marks on leg

Does anyone know (maybe Dave Blackened) how you get that brownish stain off an otherwise white motor leg?? Have tried a couple of things with no joy:( Motor is an 03 Johnson 115.

Diluted septone drifter (aka phosphoric acid) then follow with a good polish or wax to reseal the surface.

It's a johnyrude? pretty common on the alloy casting.
