How to use frogs for dam barra

Hi,
Just curious how to use frogs. I have been mainly ripping them on the surface. Should I be sinking them a bit, Stop start, or a combination of all of them? :-/

Exactly ....... :)

try different types of frogs too ......... some swim better slow & subsurface - while others burnt along the surface
