found a flyer for the pirtek challange 11th of april 2010
only $20 for a hat and raffle ticket in the price draw ..
but like any good australian ...i dont need a excuse to go fishing ....
but could do with a new hat :) ..

yeah I'm a big fan of this comp......I'll donate any amount of money to stop some doc from having to stick his finger - you know where. Heard enough horror stories from the old man.

Hopefully this year I'll catch one of the target fish.

Yep, I'll be putting in 4 entries and trying to fill my boat with people. Same as I did last year.

My little girl got 2nd junior flathead, or so they said, and the organisers and Micheal Guest went out of their way, above and beyond expectations, to let her know that she did well. Truly cemented fishing as a past time for her. Of course, with every fish she's caught since then, she expects a certificate and a new fishing rod!
