Just wondering if it is going to have enough power, will have 2 105a/h AGM batteries and on board charger with it.

Cheers, Breakthelines :)

I have thesame with the long shaft for my fin and 1 110 ah battery and get 4-6 hr running out of it easily in current but its fine for a day on the dam so i would think 2 batteries would give yo plenty . But if you where going to have 2 batteries maybe step up to a 24v model but i am not sure if that will help you ...matt

I was thinking more weight wise rather than run time.

I thought a 55lb wouldn't be sufficient for your boat. I have the same electric on my Seajay 4.35. My boat obviously weighs a lot less than yours. THough, having said that I suppose once the boat is moving it doesn't take a lot to push it through the water at low spead.

I've got the 55 on a 4.5m boat and wish I'd gone for the 24v model now. The 55 is adequate but the next size up would be perfect. You're carrying two batteries anyway so go for the bigger motor

You can never have too much power - go the 80lb - 24 volt ;)

The Cteck charger is quite compact compared with both Guest or minnkota - I will post some update shots of our set up shortly 8-)

Go 24V & 80lb+; you have the batteries already! When it's calm you'll use SFA power and when the wind is howling and the tide ripping along, there'll be no regrets.
My 82lb Tour shifts the 800kg+ rig with ease, mostly at less than half thrust and near-silent.

Mate,
I have a fisher 5.8 dual series, 250 lt fuel, two house batteries, live tank and kill tank and use a extended shaft Salt water series 24volt 80lb minkota (obviously with two agm 120 a/hr batteries) and it's thrust is amazing squeeze easly two days of usage before charging. Any questions give me a holla. Also note spend the money and get at least a 12volt 25amp battery charger with min 3 stage float capacity and one that can charge two batteries at once. Baintech have many.

I'd would go bigger than 55lb mate.

Mate go to 80lb+.

If tide and current and wind are ripping hard then a 55lb will will struggle.

You are already going to have 2 x battery's and the weight between models is not really a concern as the benefits of going a 24v system far outweighs the disadvantage of the minimal weight increase.

Cheers

I'm running a Fisher 4.8 metre and run a 24 volt Minnkota. Don't get a 12 volt motor you will be under powered.
